Position Overview:
Alveo Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Animal Health Sales Leader to join our dynamic team. This crucial customer facing role is multi-faceted and will ensure we are focused on delivering the commercial goals, delivering the highest level of satisfaction and supporting our partners and distributors across the region. We are looking for someone who is driven, detail orientated, and results oriented to help us achieve our mission of transforming the animal diagnostics marketplace with our proprietary and paradigm changing handheld, Point of Need molecular testing platform.
This position will be located in the European Union (EU).
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting commercial activities through our partners and distributors across EU, UK, ME and North Africa.
Responsible for developing/maintaining/building relationships across our existing networks as well as acquiring new business via direct customer meetings as needed.
Helping to formulate and implement or sales strategy across the regions, supporting key accounts, managing sales funnels and forecasts and providing technical sales support for our Alveo Sense products.
The role requires travel to customer and distributor sites, and one should expect~50% travel (50% home office)
On a daily basis, you will be executing our sales strategy, identifying new opportunities/leads, and generating sales reports.
This role requires basic understanding of the regulatory environments across the region, keeping up to date with Governmental and Non-Governmental disease control and eradication programs, and collect and provide customer feedback to headquarters.
This role will initially be an individual contributor position with future expansion.
Qualifications:
Previous successful consultative sales and account management experience in the animal health market. 5+ years preferred.
High comfort with both outbound and inbound sales activity, combining account strategy with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills including writing, listening, and questioning.
Strong business acumen, organizational skills and computer/CRM proficiency.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly and build and maintain relationships across organizational levels (C-level, DVMs, field personnel, etc).
Capability to understand and articulate technical information about technical products and testing programs.
Highly motivated and goal-oriented
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
A background in veterinary, Large Animal Diagnostics, Poultry/Swine/Ruminant Farming is desirable.
Fluency in business English is required; multiple languages would be advantageous.
