Learning & Development Specialist

Role: Learning & Development Specialist

Job Description

This position contributes to the organization by crafting, executing, and assessing training initiatives aimed at elevating the competencies and expertise of its Needs Analysis:

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in skills and knowledge within the organization.
  • Collaborate with department heads and HR to understand organizational goals and individual employee development needs.

Program Design And Development

  • Design and develop effective training programs and materials tailored to meet identified needs.
  • Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Incorporate a variety of learning methods, including e-learning, instructor-led training, workshops, and on-the-job training.

Training Delivery

  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other learning activities.
  • Provide support to trainers or subject matter experts involved in the delivery of specific training modules. Ensure that training is delivered consistently and effectively across all levels of the organization.

Evaluation And Feedback

  • Develop and implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to make continuous improvements.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of training on employee performance and organizational Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are often a Proven experience as a Learning and Development Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with instructional design Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and other training technologies.
  • Analytical skills for needs assessments and program evaluation.
  • Project management skills to handle multiple training initiatives simultaneously
