Responsibilities

• Technically lead and mentor
• Own backend cloud infrastructure and documentation
• Design and create state-of-the-art REST APIs, data pipelines and infrastructure
• Develop and own micro-services, features, and components
• Scale data ingestion and processing pipeline for high throughput – ingress of over 50 million sensor images per day!
• Enable platform to agilely support complex interactions with our customers’ and partners’ technology.
• Collaborate with other teams (architects, integration engineers, embedded engineers)

• We need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience building complex (secure, reliable, distributed and scalable) SaaS systems on Azure, AWS or GCP
  • At least 5 years of experience in NodeJS or Python backend services
  • Experience in implementing data pipelines and/or event streaming, e.g., Apache Airflow, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience in building well-crafted REST APIs and integrating with the Frontend developers.
  • Experience with complex SQL/NoSQL database designs. Well-versed with schema normalizations and query optimization
  We would love
  • Experience with interfacing HW and sensors with cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with IoT Platforms (Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, etc.)
  • Experience with Identity-as-a-Service providers (Auth0, AWS Cognito, etc.)
  • Experience with automated deployment tooling (Terraform, CDK, etc.)
  • Experience with CI pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience working in a Docker-first environment with Kubernetes
