Responsibilities
- Designing and developing machine learning and deep learning applications on SambaNova hardware
- Working with the ML Algorithms, compiler and performance team to port existing models to SambaNova hardware
- Running machine learning tests and experiments to ensure correctness by selecting appropriate datasets and training recipes
- Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks to implement new features
- Develop novel ML model architectures and primitives that take advantage of SambaNova’s breakthrough architecture to deliver orders of magnitude performance & efficiency improvements
- Develop, manage, and maintain test suites for models and proper documentation of models ported to SambaNova hardware
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Intelligence, Engineering Science, or Math
- 3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Experience with algorithms, data structures, and software development in Python and C/C++
- Knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with and passion for any of the following -- machine learning, compilers, parallel programming, high-performance and massively parallel systems, processor and computer architecture
Annual Salary Range and Level
The base salary for this position ranges from $180,000/year up to $210,000/year. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
