Job Description:
- Create reliability qualification setups, such as Accelerated HTRB, Accelerated HTGB.
- Develop automation codes for the reliability qualification setups.
- Analyze results and prepare technical report.
Education, Skill, and Experience:
MINIMUM:
- MSc. / MTech. degree either emphasizing semiconductor device physics or power electronics.
- Concept of programming: Basic understanding of programming. It is expected to have a good knowledge and skill in at least one basic programming language. For example: C, C++, Python, Java.
- Basic understanding of Data Analysis and Statistics.
- Hands-on familiarity with lab equipment (DSOs, multimeters, power supplies, temperature sensing, etc.)
- Ability to work in a startup environment where roles and responsibilities are often overlapping and flexible.
- Ability to prepare reports and present results and ideas to team members and external agencies.
Desirable:
- Candidate should have good knowledge of Device Physics, especially GaN-FET device structure, 2DEG channel formation, Stress Effect on Power GaN devices, operating Principle of GaN-FET, Lattice Mismatch, Trapping-de-Trapping mechanisms.
- Candidate should know all of the Failure Modes of the GaN-FET.
- Candidate should have basic understanding of POWER MOSFET Data-Sheet.
Specially: Regarding RDS-ON, Transient Voltage, Surge Current and Voltage Ratings, Difference between Peak Current and Saturation Current, Safe Operating Area of Power MOSFET, Pulse VG-ID and Pulse VD-ID characteristics, how key parameters vary with temperature. - Basic knowledge of Reliability Tests (Good to have). For example, HTRB, HTGB, HTOL, TC, Understanding of Weibull Distribution, Calculation of MTTF
- Basic understanding of device layouts.
- Ability to program DSP kit.
