Job Overview:

Tagore Tech is seeking a talented and motivated RF Applications Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our customers by providing technical expertise, resolving complex RF issues, and driving design win activities with the sales team. The application engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for our existing RF products of high-power RF switches, Power Amplifiers (PA) and Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA). This position involves providing technical support, answering technical questions, debugging and resolving customer issues, planning and preparing all customer support collaterals. An ideal candidate would have strong background in RF system with hands-on experience in high power RF components measurement.

Duties:

  • Develop sale collateral: Plan and prepare sample evaluation boards and supporting documentation. Prepare Application notes, Data sheets, S-parameter models.
  • RF Lab measurements: Create custom RF automation and measurement systems. Utilize your strong RF testing skills with experience in the use of network analyzers, signal analyzers, signal generators, Spectrum analyzers, Power Meters, oscilloscopes, and other lab equipment. Develop measurement automation utilizing Visual Basic, Python, etc.
  • Design: Use ADS/MWO to design matching circuits for passive and active circuits. Design tunning input/output matching circuits for RF PAs, LNAs. Manage design of PCBs for product reference boards.
  • Customer Support: Support customers' design integration stages, provide solutions for customers needs. Recreate and debug customer issues within the lab. Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies. Communicate well with customers and the sales team.

Skills:

  • BSEE/MSEE or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience related to RF/Microwave engineering is a big plus.
  • Strong understanding of RF theory and practice, including transmission line theory, impedance matching, and noise figure analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with RF measurement equipment, such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Proficiency in RF simulation tools (ADS, MWO)
  • Experience with high-power RF components (PAs, LNAs, RF switches)
  • Working knowledge of wireless systems including: 5G, 4G, Radar, LMR/PMR/Tactical Radios, Drone communications systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an environment with concurrent tasks that have shifting priorities.
