About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and build processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our development and integration pipeline, ensuring smooth and efficient software build and testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices
- Optimize build processes for improved efficiency and faster integration cycles
- Collaborate with development teams to automate code integration and testing
- Implement and manage build servers and automation tools
- Develop and maintain build scripts and configuration management
- Monitor build performance and implement improvements for scalability and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and testing environments
- Implement security best practices throughout the CI pipeline
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on CI best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles with a strong focus on CI and build processes
- Expert knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps
- Strong expertise in version control systems, particularly Git
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) for consistent build environments
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalable CI infrastructure
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for CI environment setup
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for CI pipelines (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with various build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, MSBuild)
- Knowledge of security practices in CI pipelines
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Jenkins Certified Engineer, GitLab Certified Associate)
- Experience with static code analysis tools and integration into CI pipelines
